Imagine, it is the year 2002, you come home from school, plonk yourself on the sofa, get comfy in your sweats, grab your favourite snack and finally switch on the television to watch your favourite Disney shows, back to back. Every single day practically was a Disney marathon for kids and teens everywhere. We are sure you have binged to shows such as The Wizards of Waverly Place, That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, and endless other series.

Thanks to Amazon, Netflix, and YouTube, kids now have a lot of choices and no longer have to sit through hours of just these shows, because these are the only shows available. We had a special connection with these shows 'cause in these, everything is pretty, jolly, positive, relatable and definitely endowed with happy endings. We miss those days, the simpler times and definitely the character's fashion styles.

Whom could you relate to the most? Was it Hannah, Lizzie, Raven, Alex or someone else? A die-hard Disney Channel fan who had the daily show times memorized could sing along to every theme song and could identify an episode from the first three seconds of screen time. Today you get to choose who correlates best with how you dress up. The Disney channel is a huge company that has made dozens of shows and hundreds of movies over the years, and some of the characters and their particular styles are etched in our memory forever.

All the lead actresses have their patent styles right from in their respective shows, all defining their own personality and what their characters were meant to portray. Bubbly, naive, adorable, each had her own sense of styling and playing the character. It has been a long time since these last played on our televisions, and now we are taking you to a trip down memory lane as we focus on each lead actresses fashion game.

We first start with, Alex Russo (played by Selena Gomez) who was every girl's middle school style icon. Her main mantra was layering! Literally, all her clothes were paired with many other clothes. Clunky belts on long tunic tops paired with leggings mini shrugs on dresses were her patent styles. Not to forget, she always lugged onto layering, no matter what the occasion or whether it was. Over a long sleeved shirt or a short-sleeved shirt, the only way to wear your cool new tank was to throw it on top of something else.

Immediately next, we would like to remember Lizzie McGuire (played by Hillary Duff), who was the most bubbly teen on our TV screens. She will forever live on as one of our dearest tween fashion icons, who is unforgettable due to her crimped hair and quirky accessories. The tie-dye pants and bell sleeves tops were in vogue and a part of her wardrobe way before they made it to our runways. Lizzie knew how to rock metallic suits and camo tank tops with ease.

Denim jackets with rhinestones? Check! Graphic T-shirts? Check! Flared pants? Check! Neon Pants? Check! Our list could go and on, and we yet would not be able to keep up with the style of Raven Baxter (played by Raven Symoné) in the show That's So Raven. Her style was off the charts, she knew how to add all the levels of spunk. From denim on denim and total monotonous outfits to faux fur jackets and embellished skirts, this feisty teen encouraged fashion experimentation in new ways. With an absolutely incredible wardrobe and her magical powers, hers is a life we aspire to have someday.

Raven has always been a style maven.

And last but not the least we have Maddie Fitzpatrick (played by Ashley Tisdale) on the show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Though we mostly saw her in her hotel Tipton attire, there were times when she went all out to prove that she too, has a great innate style sense. From adorable baby pink lace tops and mini shorts to black leather jackets and printed leggings, she knew if looks could kill, she could do that too. Her sweet bubbly image will always be etched in our memory, and the show will forever go on in our hearts.

Maddie with her epic fashion and style sense slayed it.

We miss these shows like no other since they defined a great time of our childhood and teenage. These young fashion icons gave us the inspo to experiment with our wardrobes and that is how we could own the looks.
