Defying all age, caste, color and religious biases, this fabulous couple wed each other on the 1st of December, 2018 at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. They both come from two different worlds but blend so well to form the sweetest pair. It is clear by now that the big fat Indian wedding lived up to all the hype, and we are here to break it down for you, and tell you who wore what for all the nuptials that took place. From the Indian wedding to the Christian wedding, the couple totally rocked the different outfits and knew how to own the looks.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged this year, during the month of July, in Greece, and capped off their engagement on the bride to be's 36th birthday in London in a romantic gesture right out a scene of a movie. The couple's multi-day, all week long celebrations took place from November 29th until December 3rd, with the wedding ceremonies taking place on December 1st and 2nd. From Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas to Danielle Jonas and Kevin Jonas, all witnessed this mammoth celebration and participated in the amalgamation of beautiful yet contrasting cultures.

It all started last year, in 2017 when the two made their first public appearance for the Met Gala, in New York. They both were dressed up for the event by the same designer, and Priyanka's look instantly became very popular as she wore a Ralph Lauren trench coat with the longest train. Nick was suited in a combination of the black, white and silver tuxedo. The chemistry was undeniable and the sparks were sure to fly.

For Christian wedding, the couple exchanged vows on the 1st of December. The couple, along with their immediate family and the entire bridal party looked stunning in custom Ralph Lauren. The bridesmaids wore blush charmeuse v neck gowns with a cascading ruffle and custom made charmeuse and organza flowers. Chopra’s hand beaded and embroidered dress featured floral and scroll motifs, lace effect tulle applique work, scalloped sleeves, and a high-neck collar. Her veil was seventy-five feet long, yes we are absolutely serious and the entire piece took about eighteen hundred odd hours to complete. She also wore custom-made Jimmy Choo shoes. That is what you call a labor of love. The Christian wedding service officiated by Nick’s father. It can't get more special than this.

Next up was the Indian wedding, that took place at the same venue, the very next day. The celebrity power couple was dressed in traditional Indian attire. Priyanka wore a stunning Sabyasachi ensemble, which had on it intricate French embroidery and fine sequin work is done.  The custom-made couture, which took around four thousand man hours and over a hundred embroiderers from Kolkata to create, was a collaborative effort of the bride itself and the ace fashion designer. It was a neo-traditional bridal dress that represented, women who like to marry global tradition with Indian heritage. This seems beyond special and perfect to us!
